Yoga Goes Digital at Sukhna Lake of Chandigarh
A unique musical 3D mapping show, Yoga – The Tree of Life, was held as part of the Yoga Festival ahead of the International Day of Yoga-2016, at Sukhna Lake, Chandigarh on Saturday.
A 16-ft structure at the lake displayed yoga postures using 3D technology that provided the digital special effects to convey the benefits of Yoga.
The highlight of the event, however, was the phantasmic phizes of the Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi, who positions himself as the champion of Yoga in India. Modi’s images were part of the digital displays.

Earlier, a BJP minister Shripad Yesso Naik asked people to participate in the International Day of Yoga celebrations being held in Chandigarh on June 21, 2016 in order to make Yoga a mass movement.

The minister also said that Yoga is being made as part of syllabus and curriculum at school, college, and university levels.
He said that a two-day International Conference on Yoga for Body and Beyond will be held at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi on 22nd and 23rd June, 2016.
