“World’s Largest Social Game” – Words with Friends

Crystal Light Liquid, a new product that adds customizable flavor to water, along with Zynga, the world’s leading provider of social game services, is hosting the “world’s largest group Words With Friends” game tonight (May 8) from 8-11 p.m. EST.

Fans in the U.S. can play together in real-time for a chance to win prizes. This game will be live-streamed online through the Words With Friends Facebook application.

“Crystal Light Liquid is all about adding easy, guilt-free pleasure to your day, so teaming up with Words With Friends was a perfect fit for us,” said Adam Butler, senior brand manager for Crystal Light.

“We plan to engage with millions of fans who can enjoy Crystal Light Liquid, play their favorite game and get a chance to win some incredible trips to fun waterfront destinations.”

“At any given time, we estimate 55 million Words With Friends games are occurring around the world, but this is the first time that our fans can simultaneously play together in one game online with their smart phone or tablet,” said Julie Shumaker, VP, Brand Sales, Zynga.

There will be two teams, and all players can play for both teams and will receive the same seven letter tiles as the rest of their team. Each player has two minutes to create their best word and one randomly chosen word will be spotlighted online.

Everyone who submits a word has a chance to enter into a sweepstakes to win a VIP trip, and everyone attending the event is eligible to enter the sweepstakes and receive lots of swag, from Crystal Light Liquid and Zynga.
