You can take a virtual tour of the custom-built, fully furnished HGTV Dream Home 2014 set in the Schaffer’s Mill community near Lake Tahoe.
The HGTV Dream Home 2014 Giveaway opens for entries on Dec. 27, 2013 at 9 a.m. Eastern time and runs through Feb. 14, 2014 at 5 p.m.
The 18th annual HGTV Dream Home is part of a grand prize package valued at nearly $2 million that will be awarded next spring.
In addition to the home, the HGTV Dream Home 2014 prize package includes an all-new GMC Yukon Denali and $250,000 cash, provided by national mortgage lender Quicken Loans.
During the giveaway period, viewers can enter twice online per day: once at HGTV.com and once at FrontDoor.com, and can sign up for daily e-mail reminders. HGTV Facebook and Twitter fans (#HGTVDreamHome) can check in for ongoing updates and new details.

The HGTV Dream Home 2014 measures approximately 3200-square-foot, and includes three bedrooms and 3 1/2 baths on one-third of an acre.
The home boasts panoramic views of the Carson Range that separates California and Nevada.
