Valpak Integrates Coupons into Google Wallet
Valpak Direct Marketing Systems, Inc., a company offering local print and digital coupons, will integrate its offerings of local and national coupons into Google Wallet via the Wallet Objects API.
The Valpak.com “Save to Google” feature will be available for desktop and mobile web users, providing the ability for smartphone users to access Google Wallet.
Google Wallet is a free digital wallet that securely stores your credit cards, debit cards, offers, loyalty cards, and more. With Google Wallet, you can buy in-stores, buy online, and send money.

“Being a Google Wallet Objects integration partner demonstrates Valpak’s undertaking to be at the forefront of technology,” said Michael Vivio, president of Cox Target Media, provider of Valpak.
Valpak says it is the first direct marketing company to distribute local coupons across multiple mobile wallets. Its coupons were incorporated onto Windows Phone Wallet in February and onto iOS Passbook last October.

To use Valpak coupons with Google Wallet, consumers need to visit Valpak.com on their desktop computer or via their smartphone or tablet browser. They then access “local coupons,” click on the coupon they want, scroll down to the button that says, “Save offer to Google.”
The offer will be saved directly to their Google Account and they can redeem in store using the Google Wallet app at checkout.
In addition to helping consumers save money, the new Google Wallet integration also helps Valpak advertisers, providing another distribution platform and additional way to get their local business and promotional marketing message in front of consumers, thus increasing their audience and reach.
The Google Wallet app is currently available in the United States.
