Summit of the Future Digital Track to Feature SDG Digital

The track will bring together leaders from government, civil society, the private sector, the youth movement and academia.

“A Digital Future for All,” the Summit of the Future’s digital track dedicated to unlocking commitments to harness innovation and emerging technologies in a more inclusive, safe and sustainable manner, and featuring SDG Digital 2024, will take place at United Nations Headquarters in New York and online on 21 September.

Convened by the Office of the Secretary-General’s Envoy on Technology (OSET), the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), this track featuring SDG Digital and other segments related to emerging technologies including artificial intelligence (AI) is the cornerstone of international efforts to leverage digital innovation to achieve the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). 

The track will bring together leaders from government, civil society, the private sector, the youth movement and academia to explore the trends, risks, opportunities and solutions presented by digital and emerging technologies. 

“A Digital Future for All” accompanies the UN General Assembly and the Summit of the Future to exemplify how digital technologies can lay the groundwork for a more sustainable, inclusive, and responsible future.
