Roku + M-GO = Instant Access to Movies and TV Shows
|Streaming software platform provider Roku Inc. and digital entertainment service M-GO today announced a new partnership that brings instant access to entertainment.
Located on the Roku home screen menu, new “movies” and “TV shows” shortcuts lead directly into the integrated M-GO service and provide a new way for consumers to start watching new releases and catalog classics.
These include Hangover 3, The Croods, Breaking Bad, Modern Family, Big Bang Theory, Glee and even fall-premiering shows like Brooklyn 9-9 starring Andy Samberg.
Also, M-GO features integrated billing with Roku so customers can rent or buy through M-GO without any extra setup.

The movie and TV show shortcuts powered by M-GO will be available in the U.S. on the new Roku LT, Roku 1 and Roku 2 players, and will automatically roll out as a free software update beginning in October to all current-generation Roku devices.
These include the Roku LT (models 2400 and 2450), Roku HD (model 2500), Roku 2 HD, Roku 2 XD, Roku 2 XS and Roku 3 players as well as the Roku Streaming Stick.
There will also be a M-GO button on the new Roku LT (model 2700), Roku 1 and Roku 2 remotes. To celebrate the partnership, all customers who activate M-GO on Roku between Oct. 1 and Dec. 31 will get two free movie rentals of their choice; it was stated.
