Paul Kurzawa to Lead Retail for DreamWorks Animation
|DreamWorks Animation has named Paul Kurzawa to the newly created position of head of Retail Development & Entertainment.
In his new role, Kurzawa will be responsible for the company’s worldwide retail brand development and integration initiatives.
DreamWorks Animation’s IP roster features the franchise properties of Shrek, Madagascar, Kung Fu Panda, How to Train Your Dragon, and Puss in Boots.
The company also has an extensive collection of classic titles, including Where’s Waldo?, Olivia, Noddy and Postman Pat and holiday classics including Santa Claus is Comin’ to Town.

“As soon as we made the decision to expand our brand into the retail space, there was no doubt in my mind that we needed Paul Kurzawa,” said DreamWorks Animation CEO Jeffrey Katzenberg.
Kurzawa (pictured above) has more than 20 years of experience working for the retail shopping center developers including Westfield, Jones Lang Lasalle, Lend Lease, and Caruso Affiliated.
