Lenovo’s VIBE X2 is claimed to be the world’s first layered phone, which the company has launched in India. It comes with a three-layer design and uses MT6595 said to be the world’s first 4G LTE Octa-Core processor from MediaTek.

The phone is characterised by its 12.7 cms full HD screen, feather-light weight (120g) with dual cameras having a simplified UI, selfie beautification and auto-shutter gesture controls along with VIBE Xtension smart layers.

For example, a layer can be added to the layered VIBE X2 with the VIBE Xtension Smart layers which are, VIBE X2 Battery and VIBE X2 Speaker.

Adding a fourth layer to the VIBE X2’s multi-layered concept are the VIBE Xtension smart layers. Lenovo is introducing two VIBE Xtensions, VIBE X2 Battery and VIBE X2 Speaker, which work seamlessly with the VIBE X2 to enhance and personalize consumers’ mobile experience.

At 5.1 mm thin, the VIBE X2 Battery can extend its life by up to 75 percent. An auxiliary micro-USB port simultaneously charges the case and device.

Other highlights include a hands-free stand, wireless Bluetooth connectivity and a built-in battery for 5 hours of uninterrupted audio playback.

The Lenovo VIBE X2 will be priced at Indian Rs. 19,999 and will be available exclusively on Flipkart from Monday, Nov.10. The device will be available in sunset Gold layer variant.
