New York Fashion Week Goes Live with New Features
New York Fashion Week LIVE has added new features to offer a more streamlined way to watch and interact during the live streams from both Mercedes-Benz and MADE, beginning Feb. 6, 2014.
It offers new “Chat,” “Watch Live,” and Instagram sections for a more interactive experience during the live streams.
And a “Switch City” function allows viewers to watch London, Milan and Paris, following New York.
“The public is ready for ‘Fashion Week 2.0’,” says spokesperson Pablo Avion. “They want to bring fashion week into their lives, homes and conversations. And with MADE now streaming from Milk Studios, people are enjoying more options, and the ability to interact with the events and one another.”
New York Fashion Week LIVE includes streams from both Mercedes-Benz and MADE (from Milk Studios), as well as independent streams such as Caroline Herrera / AMEX and Michael Kors / All Access, All Angles.
It’s now a part of a Fashion Week Online, which offers comprehensive fashion event coverage such as:
- Sneak preview (three weeks before TV broadcast) of the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show
- The British Fashion Awards
- Mercedes-Benz Miami SWIM
- Plus fashion app reviews, interviews and articles on the intersection of fashion and music.
Also, Fashion Week Online expands livestream coverage to all “Big 4” fashion weeks: New York, London, Milan, and Paris, with coverage as far afield as Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Russia.
The new season begins Feb. 6, 2014.
