Huawei’s New 5.5-inch 4G LTE Smartphone
Huawei unveiled its new Ascend G7 smartphone at Internationale Funkausstellung Berlin (IFA) 2014 on Thursday.
Built with a 5.5-inch HD screen, enhanced 4G LTE Cat4 connectivity and an optimized 13MP rear-facing camera, Ascend G7 aims to enable people to “work smart and play hard.”
Ascend G7 is the latest addition to Huawei’s series of Ascend G devices.
“In a market flooded with mid-tier smartphones that have a plastic look and feel, Ascend G7 stands out with its beautifully crafted, elegant metallic design,” said Richard Yu, CEO, Huawei Consumer Business Group.
“The vibrant 4G LTE-enabled Ascend G7 has been created for consumers around the world to ‘Make it Possible’ to embrace their individuality and live life their own way.”
The recommended retail price of Huawei Ascend G7 is 299 euros. It will be available in Germany, Italy, Spain, Denmark, Hungary, the Netherlands Turkey, Poland, Norway, South Africa and Mexico from September 2014, with other markets to follow.
