EIT Digital Hosts Event on Predictive Maintenance

EIT Digital invites a selection of representatives from industry, research, and academia to discuss the existing use cases, technology trends, and potential business advantages in the field of Predictive Maintenance and Machine Learning.

Predictive maintenance (PdM) techniques help you know the condition of in-service equipment in order to estimate the maintenance costs and time to perform maintenance of the industrial gear.

The PdM techniques are used to conserve costs over regular or time-based preventive maintenance, because maintenance is carried out only when it is required.

The main promise of predictive maintenance is to allow convenient scheduling of corrective maintenance, and to prevent unexpected equipment failures.

The EIT Digital discussions – scheduled for 15 March – will include presentations of experts, who provide the latest insight on tech developments and business opportunities.

The event is also an opportunity to better understand the benefits of engaging in the strongest Digital Industry community in Europe – the Digital Industry Action Line ecosystem of EIT Digital.
