DraftKings Launches Big Baller Mobile Social Game

DraftKings, an online platform for daily fantasy sports, has launched Big Baller, its first mobile app for daily fantasy sports game play.

According to the company, the game brings a quick-style format to online fantasy sports; an easy-to-play, simplified version that offers entertainment for both the casual sports fan and the expert fantasy sports enthusiast.

Players can go head-to-head with friends, the Big Baller community or the app itself, and multi-platform functionality allows seamless, continuous play across mobile devices and Facebook.

The Big Baller app is free and can be downloaded at the Apple App Store and Google Play.

“Big Baller brings players a new, on-the-go option for daily fantasy sports. The reality is the world of gaming has evolved and mobile gaming is immensely popular. The Big Baller app provides fantasy sports fans, as well as the more casual sports gamer, with an experience that fits how they like to play games,” said Jason Robins, co-founder and CEO of DraftKings.

Big Baller operates across multiple platforms, including Facebook, Android, and iOS. Similar to other mobile social games, it allows players to begin a game on any of the included devices or operating systems and continue playing on another.

So you can start a game on Facebook and pick it up later on your phone. Contests run daily, concurrent with the matches in the respective sporting leagues, says the company. The game was introduced Friday, Sept. 7.
