Doctor Strange Film to Feature Honor Smartphone Brand
|Huawei’s smartphone brand Honor announced Wednesday its collaboration with Marvel Studios on its movie, “Doctor Strange”, in which Honor’s phone will be featured.
The partnership will extend beyond the appearance of the Honor’s device in the movie to include a series of co-promotional online and offline campaigns.
The tie-up with Marvel is the latest in a string of creative and dynamic marketing initiatives led by Honor specifically tailored for millennials.
The company says Honor follows a different approach by pursuing opportunities to connect with millennials through a wide array of partnerships that span the worlds of music, cinema, gaming and extreme sports.
Marvel Studios’ “Doctor Strange”, starring Benedict Cumberbatch, tells the story of world-famous neurosurgeon Dr. Stephen Strange who, in his quest for healing after a horrific car accident, finds powerful magic in a mysterious place.
Honor comes with advanced dual-lens camera system, fingerprint sensor with a programmable Smart Key, and premium, light-reflecting layered glass design. Honor 8 is available in Sapphire Blue, Pearl White, and Midnight Black.
Doctor Strange will screen in the UK on October 25, and in the US on November 4. Honor will also be actively promoting this partnership in countries including Russia, the US, Germany, the UK, France, Italy, Spain, Finland, Poland, Czech, Sweden, Serbia, Malaysia, the United Aram Emirates, Kuwait and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Supported by Honor, a red carpet premiere with representatives from Honor and stars from Marvel Studios’ “Doctor Strange” takes place today, October 20, followed by the Science of the Marvel Cinematic Universe event on October 27 to celebrate the science and technology behind the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
