DISH Anywhere on Amazon Kindle Fire HDX Tablets
|To offer its customers more remote TV viewing options, DISH (NASDAQ: DISH) said Wednesday that its recently upgraded DISH Anywhere app is now available for download on Kindle Fire HDX tablets.
The app, previously only available on Android and iOS devices, gives DISH customers the ability to watch all of their live TV programs, DVR recordings and On Demand titles on-the-go.
Through the DISH Anywhere app, DISH Hopper with Sling DVR owners can view live, recorded and video-on-demand content at home or remotely from their smartphones and tablets when connected to either Wi-Fi or a 3G/4G connection.
Additionally, the app gives users the ability to view program guides, set recordings and manage their DVRs.

DISH recently announced the integration of the Hopper Transfers feature with the DISH Anywhere app during the 2014 International Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in January.
The app now allows users to transfer recorded content from their Hopper with Sling DVRs to their mobile devices for viewing when an Internet connection is not available.
The DISH Anywhere app is available to download for free via the iTunes Store, Google Play and the Amazon Appstore.
