Create Your Own Movie with Magisto Social Video Service
The Sea Otter Classic has announced a new partnership with Magisto, the free, automatic video editing service, to offer cycling enthusiasts a new way to express their love of the sport.
A four-day “Celebration of Cycling,” Sea Otter Classic is regarded as the world’s leading cycling festival, hosting nearly 10,000 professional and amateur athletes and 65,000 fans.
The 24th Annual Sea Otter Classic takes place April 10-13, 2014 at the Laguna Seca Recreation Area, Monterey, California.
Magisto and the Sea Otter Classic are inviting athletes, fans and general cycling enthusiasts to create their own movies sharing their Sea Otter and cycling adventures.

“Sea Otter has a passionate fan base connected by a common love for cycling,” stated Sea Otter Classic president and CEO Frank Yohannan.
“By partnering with Magisto, we will offer a new and easy way for all participants to create exciting movies from the footage they are already taking. This will facilitate the ability of our athletes to share their passion for cycling and the Sea Otter experience with family and friends.”
Magisto is operating in the social video landscape by transforming everyday pictures and videos into dynamic movies.

Within a few clicks, users can upload unedited video footage and photos. Magisto automatically selects the most compelling moments and weaves them together to convey a video story complete with music, customized editing and loaded with emotion.
Movies can easily be shared across social media channels including Facebook, YouTube, Instagram and more.

Cycling pro riders Joanna Petterson and Luis Lemus will be creating special Magisto movies, using GoPro cameras, for the Magisto album that chronicle their cycling stories.
All Sea Otter Classic 2014 athletes and attendees, along with cycling enthusiasts everywhere can create their own movie showcasing their passion for the sport. Creators of the most viewed movies will win GoPro and cycling gear.
