Comics and Webtoons Go Mobile with Tappytoon
|Comics publisher Contents First has announced the launch of TappyToon for iPhone and iPod touch. The TappyToon app allows fans digital access to licensed comics and webtoons.
Readers can also experience a number of TappyToon titles in an immersive and enhanced “Animated” mode. According to the company, favorite comics come alive with action and sound at the touch of the screen, doing away with cumbersome pinch-zooming that hinders viewing small text and images on mobile devices.
Animated mode is offered in addition to the usual still-image viewing mode, letting readers choose according to their preference.
Popular anime-inspired sci-fi series Automata joins all-new titles including Tails, a fantasy action comic; and the humorous graphic novel Whatever Happened to the Guy Stuck in the Elevator? and many more including mystery, thriller and even zombie westerns.
The TappyToon app is available now for free for Apple iTunes App Store for iPhone and iPod touch.
Features of TappyToon for iPhone and iPod Touch include:
- Favorite hit comics in full color, plus all-new and exclusive adventures
- High-res artwork and official, updated translations
- Choose to view comics in Animated or Still/Scroll mode
- Comics optimized for mobile screens
- Off-line viewing of downloaded episodes
