IDC Opens Public Voting for the 2022 Smart City Asia Pacific Awards
|IDC Government Insights Asia/Pacific has opened public voting categories for the eighth straight year as it continues its search for the top smart city projects in Asia/Pacific.
Out of over 330 smart city nominations from public and private enterprises in Asia Pacific, only the top 75 projects in 15 eService categories were named as finalists and qualified for public voting – the second phase of the IDC Smart City Asia Pacific Awards (SCAPA).
IDC invites the region’s citizens to vote on these finalists at the IDC Asia Pacific Smart City Awards website until the 7th of April 2022 and get a chance to win a raffle prize.
The Asia/Pacific winners for each category are decided according to IDC analysts’ benchmarking, public voting, and assessment from an International Advisory Council.
The IDC Smart City Asia Pacific Awards (SCAPA) was created to identify, benchmark, and gather citizen opinion through public voting on the best projects each year across 14 functional smart city strategic domains and one new special category. It is a six-month process that tracks and evaluates hundreds of smart city initiatives in Asia/Pacific.
