Democratic Party Election Was Rigged: Donald Trump
|By Rakesh Raman
The so-called President of the United States Donald Trump who is known for his blatant lies and alternative facts has once again raised doubts about an election that happened Saturday to elect the Democratic National Committee (DNC) chairman.
Trump said in his tweet today that the race for DNC chairman was totally “rigged.” As usual, Trump said without any substantiation that Keith Ellison who enjoyed Bernie Sanders support never had a chance to win against Tom Perez who was favored by Hillary Clinton.
The race for DNC Chairman was, of course, totally “rigged.” Bernie’s guy, like Bernie himself, never had a chance. Clinton demanded Perez!

He indicated that Ellison met the same fate as Sanders who was a victim of the rigged internal election process of the Democratic Party in last year’s presidential race.
Last year also Trump had expressed his apprehension by saying that the November election may be rigged, paving the way for his Democratic rival Clinton’s presidency.
But he has never called his own election rigged that many believe is the result of massive voting frauds and Russian hacking.
On Saturday, the DNC members elected Perez over the U.S. Representative Ellison in a 235-200 second-round vote.
Call me Tom. And don’t get too happy. @keithellison and I, and Democrats united across the country, will be your worst nightmare. https://t.co/fu7WvLofrD

Earlier Trump had congratulated Prez for his election. But after a sharp reaction from the DNC chief who said that the Democrats united across the country will be Trump’s worst nightmare, Trump delivered a counterpunch with his random statement about “rigged” DNC election.
