Next Issue Brings National Geographic to Digital Newsstand
Next Issue Media, a company that provides unlimited access to digital magazine content in the U.S. and Canada, announced Wednesday the addition of National Geographic family of titles to its growing newsstand of over 140 magazines.
The addition of National Geographic, National Geographic Traveler, National Geographic Kids and National Geographic Little Kids builds on Next Issue’s library. Each is available now for download at no additional cost to Next Issue subscribers.
“We continue to amass the best collection of the most-read and most-requested magazine titles available to subscribers today,” said Morgan Guenther, CEO of Next Issue Media. “With the addition of National Geographic, we’re adding one of publishing’s most established and respected titles.”
While the catalog, including back issues and interactive editions, continues to expand with new titles, the pricing for Next Issue unlimited access plans remains the same, says the company.
Unlimited Basic, which includes access to 127 monthly and bi-weekly titles, continues to be offered for $9.99 per month. Unlimited Premium, offering access to all 140+ titles in the catalog including the weekly titles, remains priced at $14.99 per month.
Next Issue is available across popular mobile products including iPad, iPod Touch, Android tablets, iPhone and Windows 8 devices. One account is shareable across five devices so that the whole family can enjoy unlimited magazines, suggests the company.
Next Issue Media is a joint venture of six leading publishers – Conde Nast, Hearst, Meredith, News Corp., Rogers Communications and Time Inc. The company was formed to deliver leading magazines to digital devices.
