Stream Web: A Gesture-Based Social Mobile Browser
|Mobile apps company MAZ released Stream Web today. It is a mobile browser for iPhone and iPad to integrate social networks, including Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Tumblr, LinkedIn, Evernote, Pocket, and Email / iMessage.
Sharing in Stream Web is powered by MAZ’s social product, Stream. You can simply tap the screen with two fingers to “cut out” anything you see anywhere on the web, and share or save it instantly.
You also can revisit those clips at any time in your personal Stream – a collection of visual bookmarks.

“We just celebrated 25 years of the web, and yet we’re still all copying and pasting text URLs like it’s the ’90s,” says Paul Canetti, founder and CEO of MAZ. “Stream Web is the first step towards a new paradigm for the web, one that is mobile first: gesture-based, visual, and social.”
According to the company, the app’s minimalist interface eliminates all navigation buttons to make for a truly full-screen, gesture-based browsing experience, and emphasizes ease of use with features like dual browsing and pull-to-refresh.
Stream Web is available for iPhone and iPad on the App Store for free.
MAZ is an NYC-based company founded in 2010. Its social product, Stream, allows anyone to “cut out” anything on the screen to share or save it.
