China’s Social Network Renren for Microsoft Windows 8
Renren, China’s leading real-name social networking internet platform, has announced the release of its customized high-definition client application (“Renren HD”) for Microsoft’s Windows 8 application store.
Released at the Windows 8 Consumer Preview Conference held recently during the Mobile World Congress 2012 in Barcelona, Spain, Renren HD is claimed to be the first social networking application selected by Microsoft. It was announced Friday, March 2.
Renren HD is designed to be fully integrated with Windows 8. Through “share contract,” a range of content from different applications can be shared at a single click, including web pages, pictures and videos.
