Crowdfunding Campaign for UK Feature Film “Creditors”
BAFTA-nominated Christian McKay (“Me and Orson Welles”, “Rush”), Simon Callow CBE (“Four Weddings and a Funeral”, “Amadeus”) will headline cast of Kickstarter-funded UK feature film “Creditors”.
American actress Andrea Deck (“Der Teufelsgeiger”, “The Counselor”) will also play lead role.
They have joined the cast of actor Ben Cura’s directorial debut and screen adaptation of stage play “Creditors”, originally written by Swedish playwright August Strindberg in 1888.
It was recently revived by actor Alan Rickman at the Donmar Warehouse in London and at the BAM Theatre in New York.

The project is looking to crowdfunding website Kickstarter to raise a minimum of 200,000£ in 30 days.
Cinematographer Ben Hecking (“Hinterland”, “Hide and Seek”) will be in charge of the film’s photography.

A week’s worth of the final film has already been filmed, and is shown as part of the campaign in order for potential backers to gauge what the final film will look like.

The film is being produced by Tough Dance Ltd., which is a UK production company, founded in April 2013.
