Photographers Showcase the Nokia Lumia Images of Harlem
|With the Nokia Lumia 1020, “you’ve got it”. That’s the work of David Bailey and Bruce Weber, two photographers, who used the 41 megapixel Nokia Lumia 1020 in a unique collaboration to capture the spirit and soul of Harlem, New York.
Nokia has today, Sept. 15, released nearly 60 photos from the pair’s photoshoot in Harlem, which demonstrates that the Nokia Lumia 1020 is the perfect camera to help people capture the moment in unrivalled detail, and with ease, says the company.
The photos are available to view at The Nokia Photography Room and are currently being exhibited at the Nicholls & Clarke Building in Shoreditch, East London. A video featuring Mr Weber and Mr Bailey on the shoot will be shown at the exhibition.

Mr Bailey said: “The Nokia camera [Nokia Lumia 1020] helps you capture the moment, which is the most important thing.”
Mr Weber said: “I don’t do digital and this is the first time I have really gone out in the world and done like a digital sitting. I was impressed with the resolution and the beauty of the colour.”
The London exhibition, entitled “Weber X Bailey by Nokia Lumia 1020” will run until Sept. 21 and is free to members of the public.
