Kirsten Bay is New President and CEO for Attensity
|Social analytics and engagement solutions company Attensity says that J. Kirsten Bay has been appointed as the company’s new president and CEO. The announcement was made Wednesday, Jan. 30.
Bay succeeds Ian Bonner, who will continue to serve Attensity as chairman of the board.
“Kirsten’s ability to develop and implement business process integration plans with growing companies makes her the ideal candidate to lead Attensity,” said Bonner.
“I’m delighted to pass the reins on to Kirsten, and am extremely confident of her abilities to guide the company through its next growth phase.”

Current chairman David Hartford of aeris CAPITAL AG will remain on the board.
According to Attensity, Bay (pictured above) brings to Attensity nearly 20 years of strategic process and organizational policy experience derived from the information management, finance and consumer product industries.

Attensity’s flagship products include the Attensity Pipeline, a real-time, semantically annotated social media data stream built to collect data from more than 150 million social media and online sources.
Results from the Attensity Pipeline are fed to Attensity Analyze, including its Attensity Command Center component for real-time social analytics, with the capability to deliver results to the Attensity Social CRM application, Attensity Respond.
