Born without Arms and Legs, Nick Vujicic Is a Social Media Star

Life Without Limbs founder Nick Vujicic has just reached a milestone on his Facebook page, passing three million ‘likes.’

He believes it’s a powerful reminder of how social media can deliver the word of God to a global audience.

To date, Nick’s page has received more than 3.11 million likes. In an effort to simultaneously communicate with Facebook friends the world over, Nick held a ‘hangout’ on his Facebook page Tuesday, taking questions for a live Q&A from people in New York City.

“Social media is a true blessing, allowing us to reach out and share a connection with people around the world on an ongoing basis,” Nick said. “We have established an online community that numbers in the millions, and we are united by our faith and the inspiration we draw from His word.”

The Life Without Limbs ministry has leveraged the power of technology in a number of other ways, including the recent launch of a free mobile application available for download from iTunes and Google Play to use on Apple and Android devices.

Nick also has more than 318,000 Twitter followers, and the Life Without Limbs ministry recently launched a web series documenting his World Outreach travels to 24 countries last year.

Born without arms or legs because of a rare disorder known as tetra-amelia syndrome, Nick has committed himself to helping others around the world find strength in Christ.
